The controller is configurable with different access control systems such as a card reader, fingerprint scanner or facial recognition camera. Before the turnstile installation, 040 Fit Gym had no way to regulate the entry of non-members into the facility. The staff checked membership IDs at the main entrance, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. The turnstile eliminated this manual screening process, and only authorised members can gain entry by swiping their membership card or scanning their biometrics.
