The wings office tower in Lagos is a landmark in its own right and required a secure vehicular access solution for vehicles entering the premises. Turnstar was appointed to supply and install two 275mm diameter x 1000mm high bollards at the main entrance. The bollards were manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel and have a raise and lower time of under 2.5 seconds. The bollards are manufactured with an internal hydraulic pump, removing the need for a large unsightly hydraulic power pack on the keen. The electronic control box was installed unobtrusively in the guardroom adjacent to the bollards.
