Travelport’s premises in Bruma, Johannesburg, recently underwent a security upgrade and Turnstar was chosen to provide a heavy duty boomgate system for the vehicle entrance. The 4m traffic barrier, often referred to as a boom, is installed at the main entrance and is connected to a card reader access control system. A safety / closing loop is installed beneath the brick paving to ensure the safe operation of the boomgate and an automated sliding gate is used for night time and weekend security.
