The island of Guernsey’s famous ‘Jan’s fitness studio and private gym‘ recently purchased an industrial turnstile from Turnstar to secure and control access to the facility. The gym is based in Guernsey, an island between Britain and France, which is a possession of the British crown. The turnstile is to be used to control access to the new state of the art martial art centre and it is believed that this will be the first turnstile ever installed on Guernsey.
The TITAN 4 industrial turnstile was chosen to secure the premises. The full height turnstile offers a high level of security and is ideal for this type of application where the gym is open and available to members 24/7, 365 days a year. The turnstile is also fitted with additional quadrant restrictor tubes which limit the amount of available space in the turnstile, thereby minimising the risk of two people entering through the turnstile in one transaction.
