All Turnstar automatic vehicle barriers are supplied with loop detectors which ensure the safe and efficient operation of the barrier. The Velocity traffic barrier is fitted with a dual channel loop detector enabling the connecting of two loops directly onto the internal controller and the selecting of various modes including safety and free exit. Loop detectors are a reliable mechanism for the detection of cars, trucks and even forklifts and motorbikes. They are the preferred method of obstacle detection and can be set to a variety of sensitivity options depending on the types and heights of the vehicles which will be using the access lane.
