The speedgates express was recently chosen by the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority for the securing of an existing operations building and new central administration building. The GPHA is a public organisation which is tasked with building, operating and maintaining seaports in Ghana. The Tema and Tokoradi ports have undergone extensive modernisation and currently handle approximately 17 million metric tons of cargo per annum.
Each building is to be fitted with 3 speedgate lanes. Two lanes having a 550mm wide walkway and one lane for special needs access, having a 900mm wide walkway. A visitor card drop box is also fitted for allowing visitor exit. The speedgate offers the perfect solution in terms of sophistication as well as hi-tech security and aesthetics which checked all the boxes of the interior designer working on the reception areas.
