World renowned prestige railway, the Rovos rail, which offers luxury rail travel throughout Africa recently upgraded security at its vehicle entrance in Pretoria, South Africa. Turnstar’s Velocity automatic booomgate was chosen as it offers great aesthetics combined with high speed secure operation. In total, two 6m barriers were installed, both with the trend setting Optic LED barrier arm. For safety, infrared beams were fitted in order to ensure timeous closing of the barrier only when the area is clear of obstacles.
