Turnstar recently completed an installation of two Speedgate Kinetic lanes at Sanral’s new head office in Cape Town. The project was handled by our friends at Frost International and looks really great.
Sanral, South Africa’s National Road Agency, is currently undergoing major expansion in line with the current increase of the toll road network in the country. The new head office in Cape Town is part of that expansion and Turnstar was the obvious choice when it came to securing the main reception area. Two 550mm wide lanes were installed, offering high speed (less than 1 second) access to employees and visitors. For deliveries and special needs access, two 180° special needs gates were installed beside the speedgates. The gates are installed facing each other, thereby offering a combined opening width of 1 600mm when both in the open position.
