Turnstar are now the proud owners of a state of the art Bystronic Xact press brake. The press brake which was commissioned in mid-February 2015 offers a 160 ton bending capacity with a 3 100mm wide bed. Bystronic, based in Switzerland, is a leading multinational machine tool company offering press brakes and hi-tech laser cutting machines.
The machine is packed with features in order to increase production capacity and quality. Hydraulic tool clamping, automatic crowning and laser hardened tools all controlled by a CNC interface. An optical safety detector is fitted in order to prevent accidental lowering in the event that the operator is working in that area.
