Turnstar manufactures a number of products in various grades of stainless steel. Stainless steel offers a green solution over mild carbon steels and provides a highly aesthetic finish. There are a number of different variants in the stainless steel family, each with its own chemical composition (different levels of Chrome, Molybdenum, etc), weldablilty and corrosion protection. Turnstar mainly uses 3Cr12 stainless steel which, when painted, provides a great substrate which is resistant to corrosion. Also 304 and 316 grade stainless steels are used depending on customer requirements and the required corrosion resistance.
