Turnstar recently manufactured two fully automatic revolving doors fitted with bullet resistant glass for a national key point in South Africa. The 32mm thick glass which can withstand an attack by an AK47 was supplied for both the curved drum walls and the flat leaves. Fitted with safety edges on the entrance uprights and leaf horizontals, the doors will provide a secure yet safe solution. Manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel and were powder coated in a special orange colour. The above photograph was taken during manufacture and pre-assembly.
