Anglo American, qui est l'une des plus grandes sociétés minières du monde avec une capitalisation boursière de plus de US $ 21 milliards, recently chose the Turnstar SPEEDGATE EXPRESS turnstile in order to control access to it’s newly renovated head office in Johannesburg.
The building on 55 Marshall Street was completed in 1992 and was due for a revamp and interior redesign in 2011. A major aspect of the work was for the reception area to be modernised. The SPEEDGATE EXPRESS was chosen by Anglo American due to it’s organic cabinet design which compliments the new reception interior and the high level of sophistication of the motor drive and safety sensors. Safety was of high importance to Anglo and the SPEEDGATE EXPRESS is fitted with an optical array of sensors which follows the pedestrian through the turnstile and ensures safe closing after passage.
Two double SPEEDGATE EXPRESS lanes are to be installed in early 2012, together with two SPECIAL NEEDS GATES.
