Auto & General was established in 1985 and has since become one of South Africa’s leading short term insurance providers. Turnstar’s TRAFFIC MASTER vehicle barrier boomgate was the obvious solution for securing access to the new HQ in Steyn City, Johannesburg. Six 4m vehicle barriers were installed at the main guard house and provide daily access to over 1500 employees and visitors. The boomgates are connected to safety/closing loops which were installed beneath the brick paving. The loops ensure the safe automatic closing of the vehicle barriers after each transaction.
