Umhlanga’s newest and most exclusive gated estate recently chose the Velocity automatic vehicle barrier to secure its main entrance and exit. The Velocity is a truly innovative product and the OPTIC LED barrier arm allows for enhanced visibility and great aesthetics. Fitted with 24V battery backup, the Velocity allows for continued operation even during load shedding and power outages. Compression springs are used for the boomgate counter balancing and high speed BLDC motor technology is used for the drive system. For the Enigma Estate, the cabinets were manufactured from powder coated stainless steel, due to the close proximity to the ocean.
