Turnstar recently supplied Eskom with 25 Velocity automatic vehicle barriers. The Velocity barrier is Turnstar’s newest product and is packed with features, including:
- High speed opening and closing (under 1.2 seconds)
- 24V dc battery backup for power fail operation
- Brushless DC motor with planetary gearbox
- Ultra slim cabinet available in powder coated 3Cr12 stainless steel and in brushed 304 or 316 grade stainless steel (276mm long x 256mm wide)
- Built-in DUAL channel loop detector
- Collision detection and immediate reversal by in-built hall sensors
