Take a look at one of Turnstar’s trucks loaded with a ‘few’ turnstiles, back from the galvanisers. The turnstiles are manufactured from mild steel and are then hot dip galvanized by a professional firm according to South African Bureau of Standards. Galvanizing provides an excellent finish for your turnstile, preventing corrosion and hard wearing for punishing environments. The zinc coating reacts with the atmosphere and provides a protective coating whereby the zinc sacrifices itself in order to prevent rusting. Only once all the zinc has been consumed, will substrate start to rust, a process which can take many decades.
