The JSE selected Turnstar Systems’ Speedgate Motion solution due to its sleek and compact design, which enabled sixteen lanes to be installed at the main entrance and lift lobby areas. Most of these lanes were manufactured with a 550mm width while one lane in each bank was supplied with a 900mm width to accommodate wheelchair access and deliveries. The Speedgate Motion was also fitted with facial recognition technology by a 3rd party, ensuring added ease of access as well as increased security.
