Turnstar recently manufactured a unique mobile vehicle barrier system for a mining application in Postmasburg, South Africa. The system, which includes a trailer, solar panel array, battery charger and deep cycle sealed battery, offers ultimate flexibility when it comes to securing temporary entrances. The vehicle barrier operates on 12V DC and uses very little power during operation and the customer fitted an access control system which is mounted on goosenecks. The system can be deployed rapidly and can be fully functional within 5 minutes.
