Turnstar was recently tasked with an ambitious project – providing a stainless steel product that can withstand the test of time in spite of being near the ocean. To meet these high-level expectations, Turnstar provided four Velocity automatic vehicle barriers for Northridge Coastal Estate crafted from 316 grade stainless steel cabinets and expertly polished to create a unique mirror finish. The estate is approximately 2km from the ocean and corrosion and aesthetics were of primary concern for the developer. In addition, the product was fitted with Turnstar’s Optic LED barrier arm, high speed SwiftDrive technology and battery backup for the now, not so occasional power cut. After extensive treatment to add corrosion resistance, this solution is now perfectly suited for life by the sea!
