South Africa’s leading investment bank, Investec, recently purchased a number of Turnstar vehicle barriers and spike barriers. Investec’s office, which is situated in heart of Sandton, has been a target for criminals attempting to steal employee’s vehicles. The Turnstar Talon Barrier was selected in order to minimise the risk of theft and in order to beef up the overall security of the office block which accommodates over 5 000 people.
A key feature of the Talon Barrier is the double sided spike which provides protection for vehicles approaching in both directions. The spikes are manufactured from various types of stainless steel for exceptional durability and strength.
