United Manganese of Kalahari (UMK) is a South African company, mining manganese in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. The mine is situated 13km south of Hotazel, 42km north of Kathu and 80km north west of Kuruman. The mine recently upgraded its physical security infrastructure and ordered 2 TRITON octagonal glass turnstiles. The turnstiles are manufactured from a combination of stainless steel and toughened glass, providing a highly aesthetic, yet secure entrance control solution. The turnstiles will work with any access control system and have fitted seamlessly into the mines existing system.
