Turnstar recently secured the front entrance of the Wesfleur public swimming pool in the Western Cape. Wesfleur is equiped with a 50m long x 25m wide swimming pool as well as a smaller children’s pool. In total, the complex can handle up to 950 patrons and 750 bathers. Turnstar supplied two Triumph 3 full height single turnstiles, one to secure the entrance, the other to secure the exit. It is critical that no overcrowding occurs during hot summer days and that the premises is secured at night when there is no management supervision or lifeguards. The turnstiles and wheelchair access gate were manufactured from mild steel which was then hot dip galvanised. The zinc coating which is applied during galvanising, provides a highly corrosion resistant surface, ensuring that these turnstiles will look good for many years to come.
